eSilicon Adopts Yield Dynamics Software
to Support Rapid Time to Volume

Sunnyvale, CA, August 1, 2005 – Yield Dynamics, Inc. (“YDI”) announced today that eSilicon Corporation has purchased its Genesis Fabless yield management software. According to Manuel Carneiro, Product and Process Engineering Manager of eSilicon, the decision to upgrade its critical yield management capabilities further supports its growing needs in this area, and its mission to “deliver first pass silicon success and rapid time to volume at optimal yields.”

The Genesis software provides crucial data storage technology, data source integration management, and advanced analysis capabilities to eSilicon, including a complete relational database system, web-based reporting, specialized fabless yield analysis engines, and a complete development platform for eSilicon to implement its own proprietary, custom-based methodologies, said Homi Fatemi, Yield Dynamics’ Vice President of Sales.

According to Jerry Qubain, eSilicon’s Vice President of Operations, “eSilicon was impressed by the breadth, depth and flexibility that the Genesis Fabless software offers. After comparing other commercially available solutions, we found Yield Dynamics’ product to be the best choice for eSilicon in the yield management area, and therefore decided to upgrade to their platform.”
